Match Report:
Another large loss. The B Grade is suffering due to our lack of depth and the fact of injuries to the A Grade and B Grade. On paper the team put on the field didn't look all that bad. But Hope Valley has a good B Grade team and they totally eclipsed our efforts.
We had some good players, but not enough. And our lack of cohesion in playing together was also a telling factor.
Perhaps when several players become available after injury things will turn around.
Best: 1. Luke Kooyman in ruck was outstanding. 2. Miles De Blasio repelled all game. They just went around or over. 3. Steve Sinclair has the skills and uses the ball to advantage. 4. Andrew Jones roved well but again was a lone voice. 5. Mark Maynard did some good work.
There were others who tried hard. John Murray was always attacking, Scott Hadnum had some moments, Josh McDonald competed, while Ben Smith laid a couple of big tackles. Tony Howard's kick outs went to centre. All in all though, a pretty disappointing display.
