Games Played:

History:

1974-1978

Ian Harry followed his Grandpa (Bill) a Life Member...his memory, and a smooth talkn' bloke named Beans Brien shanghai-ed him from Ferryden Park.

Claims didn't do too much on the field, drank well, looked alright on the training track,  but did 'win' an A1 Reserves "Best and Bairest" in the ruck and claims to be a "fair" player - always giving the opponents plenty of the ball!

Later (under the pump from his wife) headed way south (nearer home) for a kick (Port Noarlunga - 'free agent') - "geography" as reason for leaving, on clearance.  One of the few times Doc..'Rube' Starr thought that was ok.  Transfer fee cost: 1 schooner.

After playing at Port Noarlunga transfered to Goodwood Football Club, to their B grade, as a (slightly spent) ruckman.  However he did jag an A grade guernsey in their Premiership Side.

Misses the 'Rosies' and notes the fact of hot showers these days too!
