History:
Vic Simon was one of the diggers identified at Pheasant Wood in Fromelles France. He had been missing in action since July 1916 and his remains were identified earlier this year (2010) by DNA. Vic played with Rosalta along with his brother Edgar Simon and after WW1 other members of the family such as Jim Simon played at the club.
